Extreme Response exists to change the lives of people living in extreme, often life-threatening situations.

Russ is the co-founder of Extreme Response International, and serves as the Director of Leadership Development, creating leadership communities and engaging with leaders and partner organizations by providing leadership training, coaching and community.

Extreme Response began as a small weekend project in the Dump in Quito, Ecuador in 1997 simply bringing hope to children and families living in the the trash. Today Extreme Response has offices in Ecuador, South Africa, the Philippines, Canada and the United States, and has strategic partnerships with 32 like-minded organizations working in 11 different countries.
