Five Things I Want To Share With You Today...

#1) A great quote from Tommy Lasorda: "The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man's determination."  What do you think about that?

#2) For help "Building An Effective Team", check out this recent blog post. CLICK HERE

#3) A great book I just read that is helping me rethink metrics:  "Measuring and Improving Social Impacts" written by Marc J. Epstein and Kristi Yuthas.  "A Guide for Nonprofits, Companies, and Impact Investors"

#4) Someone recently asked me why I fly American Airlines.  Here are 3 reasons:  First, they have a great mileage program (Advantage) and I like to earn and use miles for free travel. Second, when you build loyalty with an airline, they take care of you. If you build up status, it helps when you're stranded, it helps when you need to make changes, and it helps eliminate extra fees. You might save some money on a ticket with another airline, but in the long run, when you're part of a program, there are many benefits that aren't just measured with money. Third, their routes, schedule and access to other airlines (One World) works for me.  I've been a fan for years, and I enjoy the benefits of travel within this network of airlines!  There you go.

#5) I heard about this organization doing some innovative work. Check out their website. I don't know a lot about them, but I like the work they're doing and want to learn more.  CLICK HERE to learn more about "Global Soap"
